Hello my blog, I've Missed you!!

Well it has been over 3 1/2 months since my last post. Wow how easy its it to let your life get away with you, apparently very easy. Lol! Well lets see how much I can catch you up on since my last post.
I just want to start off by PRAISING GOD for ALL HE HAS DONE and IS GOING TO DO in my life, my family, and my friends lives. GOD WE TRUST YOU FOR EVERYTHING! Over the past few months I've really spent time searching GOD for the answers for the things that I've been facing in my life. I've taken to my heart to hold these two scriptures... Psalm 62: 7-8 and a song thats titled "Here in Your Presence". The scripture says... 7. In God is my salvation and my glory: the ROCK of my strength, and my REFUGE, is in GOD. 8. TRUST in Him at ALL times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: GOD is a REFUGE for us. Selah. PRAISE GOD!! That just speaks to me. GOD is MY REFUGE! I can run to HIM and HE WILL NEVER FAIL ME! Man fails me daily and will continue to fail me, BUT GOD NEVER WILL! EVERYTHING I NEED is found in HIS PRESENCE! PRAISE GOD!! HE IS MY STRENGTH! I am looking forward to what GOD has in store for me.
School is OUT! Praise GOD ! I am blessed to have this time with my 5 amazing KIDDOS!!

So lets back track to March... GOD IS STILL IN THE MIRACLE MAKING BUSINESS! We give GOD ALL THE PRAISE for performing a MIRACLE in ZEB! Zeb came thru his heart surgery and amazed us all! GOD IS SOOO GOOD! This little man has already got a GREAT testimony that GOD can use for HIS GLORY! I just can not say it enough how much I stand AMAZED of GOD'S AWESOME WORK! Little Zeb is back to being able to do wonderful little boy things! PRAISE GOD!!!! We love you ZEB!!! He is a very thriving, HEALED by GOD's WONDEROUS HANDS, 3 yr old BOY!!! GOD WE PRAISE YOU!!!!

WE had SNOW!! The kids had a blast... Lots of snow ball fights and a great attempt at a snow man.....







We have had a GREAT EASTER. It wasn't the Easter we would've planned because all of the family was not together and we won't go there, but we still PRAISE GOD that we had an awesome day together!! HE IS RISEN!!!

WE had a few wonderful field trips with our children. Went to Charleston with Bryce and Ryan. Got to do some amazing site seeing of some great things in History... Love it! Had an awesome day! Then about a month later went to Columbia with Christian and had a great day at the Columbia Zoo. Was alittle worried about the whole day, but God had it under control. Its amazing the way that you always can picture how something is going to possibly go down and has you all freaked out, but then GOD steps in. PRAISE YOU GOD for two amazing days with our children.

So as I've stated, school is officially out for the summer and although the loss of income is going to be alittle worrisome, I TRUST GOD!!! There is alot going on that I'm saying this.... GOD I TRUST YOU!!! WITH EVERYTHING, I TRUST YOU!!! I can not control it, but you can! I GIVE IT ALL TO YOU!!!! My marriage, my kids, my family, my finances, my relationships with my friends, my health, my home, my family's needs, MY EVERYTHING!! In YOUR PRESENCE.... thats where all my answers lie.

Well.........

Well it has been a while since I have blogged and alot has happened since then. We have gotten some reports that we were expecting and some that were a real shock, but we PRAISE GOD thru them all!! In one day we found out that our little Zackers would have to have tubes put in his ears and that our precious little God-son Zeb would have to have open heart surgery before his upcoming 3rd birthday.... woa woa woa... Stop the press!!! This is way toooooo much for my heart to handle in one day. Within a week the surgery date was set ( which coinscendently was the same day as Zach's surgery was scheduled) so Zach will be postponed til March 5th and Zeb's procedure will be on February 26th in Charleston at MUSC. Please keep this family in your prayers... we BELIEVE GOD for a MIRACLE for ZEB!! He has done it once and HE WILL DO IT AGAIN!!! GOD WE TRUST YOU!!! Below is 2 walking MIRACLES that have walked among us for the last 3 yrs almost.... WE BELIEVE GOD CAN DO IT AGAIN!!! LOVE YOU RHONDA & Z-BUG!!!



We finally got a REAL SNOW and got almost 3 1/2 inches and WE HAD A BLAST!! Snowball fights, building "Jacks" the Snowman, rolling down the hill and of course daddy tackling momma to the ground several times! LOL!! WE LOVED EVERY MOMENT and PRAISE GOD for the time we had together!!!
Some of us got hair cuts, thanks to my mom for blessing us !!! Lots of things have taken place and too much for me to sit and catch you up on, but thru it all GOD IS GOOD!!! HE is in CONTROL!!!
The weight loss journey is coming right along. After 2 bouts of the stomach bug, we feel like we are getting back on track. Still need to exercise more, but still PRAISING GOD for the loss... after 6 weeks GOD has taken away 29 lbs!!! WOOOOHOOO!!! I am sooo excited!!! As for Doyce, Im not sure what his 6 week total was, but as of 5 weeks he had a loss of 21 lbs!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!! In almost 6 weeks, YOU have taken away 50 lbs!!! WOW!! God we could not have done it without you!! ( I owe 9 lbs contribution to the wonderful stomach bug...lol) I am looking forward to what GOD is going to do in this journey. I have not been the best "dieter" the past few days with all the Valentines Treats, but I PRAISE GOD HE is bringing me BACK!! LOL!!!! Oh and my Rhonda has a 5 week total of 20lbs!!! I am soooooo PROUD of HER!! YOU GO RHONDA!!! SKINNY GIRL here she comes!! PRAISE YOU GOD for all these pounds that you are taking away!! Can't wait to see what GOD is going to do.....
Keep us in your prayers!! We have alot of upcoming things and decision that we need to make and praying for GOD's WILL to be done!!! We can't make it without HIS Guidance!!

SNOW???.. Is that what that was supposed to be??

Hello all!! I hope that you all recovered from the massive "Snow storm" that hit us over the weekened that the Weather Man predicted!! LOL!!! I believe sometimes they are all "One fry short of a Happy Meal"!!.... we got ICE!! YUCK YUCK YUCK!! Ice is not my favorite unless it gets me a Snow Day from school just to be honest, and well it didn't. It caused a mess for the most part, power outage for us for about 2 hrs, just as I was about to start making "pannycakes" (as my little Anna Marissa calls them) and did not get the first one made when the power when poof... so PRAISE GOD it was only for 2 hrs and that I have Gas logs!! Lol!! PRAISE GOD!!!! So that is all of my weather report...
I want to PRAISE GOD for healing in our family and that we have had a "sick free" weekend! GOD IS GOOD!! Praising HIM for what HE is doing in our lives!!
Continue to pray for us on this new journey to GETTING BACK the REAL US (by the GRACE of GOD!! ) It gets rough especially in stressful situations that are trying to arise. GOD I TRUST YOU in ALL THINGS!!! At this point I have a 21 lb weight loss over the last 4 weeks and considering what I ate this weekend, I am thankful I am not reporting that I have had a 21 lb weight gain over the weekend! PRAISE GOD!! Slowly but surely GOD IS helping me TAKE OFF this mess that I have done to myself!! PRAISE GOD!! Keep us in your prayers.
My Zach goes to the ENT tomorrow, so keep him in your prayers that GOD's Will will be done!!

Praise God we made it.....

Well after this week in Jacksonville, all I can say is ... PRAISE GOD YOU brought us thru!!! We have had more sickness this week with my little guy Zach. After the ear infections the week before, antibiotics finishing up on the past Sunday, turns around on Tuesday running fevers and just weak. Go to doctor and apparently the 2nd antibiotics didn't even touch ear infections, so his ear were still terribly bad. So had to go with two days of doctors office giving him 750 mg ( twice ) of a high powered antibiotic thru shots in his legs. PRAISE GOD he is better. In the midst of this , I got the wonderful stomach bug!! So we are just thankful that God brought us thru and that we are CLAIMING GOOD HEALTH this week in our family! LOL!!! PRAISE YOU GOD!!!
Well I'm gonna get right to it tonight and post about our journey this week... Doyce's last week total was 5 lbs and this week of 2 lbs which gives him a 16 lb total over the past 3 weeks!! THANK YOU GOD for the VICTORY!!! I am really proud of him! He has really taken to working out again and gotten on board to a HEALTHIER US!! PRAISE GOD for the Weight Loss Victory. I would like to say that even though I would want the Stomach Bug again, it was a great help in a bigger victory LOL!!!
As of last sunday I had a 13 lb total of weight loss over the past 2 weeks. Well this weekend I can say that I PRAISE GOD for a additional 7 lbs this week... Makes my total 20 lbs!!! PRAISE GOD!!! GOD I know that I could not have done this without YOU!!! YOU ARE MY ROCK!! Help us to stay focused as we go into week 4! I am very thankful for YOU blessing us with a wonderful victory!!
I can't wait to hear all the totals of this week from all that are on this new journey to Getting Back what the devil has tried to steal for so long! LORD I LOVE YOU and I TRUST YOU!!

Bye Bye Weekend... Welcome another week....??? Lol!

Hey all, hope that you have had a very blessed week and a even more blessed weekend. My weekend has seemingly gone by like a flash and as usual another sick baby. Mid- week my Zackers had a Double Ear Infection & Pink Eye in both eyes. Thinking that he would be more well by weeks end and maybe could have a fun weekend with my kiddos, well that was my problem, I THINK TOO MUCH!! Lol!! By Friday Zach was feeling alot better, but Anna Marissa took on a stomach bug. She began throwing up early Friday night and did that until about 2am and slept ok for about 5 hrs til the diarrhea started and that has been on and off since then. uuuugggghhhh!! Lord you get one better then another one begins... I have always said that my kids don't like to share their toys, games or their things, but let one of them get sick and have cooties & they'll share them in a heart beat!! Lol!! Well Praise GOD we gonna make it thru!
Our week was fairly well, PRAISE GOD for another week behind us and starting fresh this week. My kids continue to make my laugh daily. I am very PROUD of them all. It was report card week and ALL 3 of my BOYS got A HONOR ROLL!!! So smart! I thank GOD they Love school and enjoy learning. Funny story of the week from "Jacksonville"...
Ok so one of the teachers at school came to me and said that she had something funny to share with me about my Ryan. She said that early that day all the older kids (like 6th grade and up) were learning in Health Class about body parts and they had learned the term "Epidermus" (spelling?? not sure if I spelled it correctly) which means "Skin" I believe she told me,... so at lunch one of the older kids came into the lunchroom and saw a great opportunity to use his new found knowledge of health terms. He looked at Ryan and said " Hey Ryan I see your Epidermus!".. Now Ryan being in 1st grade and not knowing what the word really meant, looked at this older student with big eyes, bending over alittle, putting his knees together, crossing his arms over his front area with an embaressed look and replied.." DON'T LOOK!!!" Hahahahahah!!!! My little man apparently thought that he was looking in an area that was only his to look at. LOL!!! Ohhhhhh!!! I LOVE MY KIDS!!! They are GREAT!!!

Well I can't leave you without updating you on what GOD has done this week in our new journey. I told you that I would post Doyce's total from last week ( Sorry I've been slack this week) but GOD gave him a VICTORY Last week for his first week of 9 lbs!!!! PRAISE GOD!! So stay tuned this week for his this week total because his weigh day is tomorrow!
Last week GOD took away 11 lbs from me and I went into this week with GREAT Motivation and even walked a mile 2 days in a row, figured a way to actually make me and my WATER get along better, so I drank more and all in all had a really good week eating wise. So weigh in day is Today and even though it was smaller than last weeks ( which I knew would be from the dreaded week 2 weigh in as Biggest Loser calls it..lol) I can still PRAISE GOD because no matter what the number is, it was STILL a LOSS!!! GOD took away 2 lbs this week!! So that makes my total 13 lbs over the last 2weeks!!! PRAISE GOD!! I gotta work on not tormenting myself so much and only REALLY Weighing in ONE DAY A WEEK!!! LORD HELP ME to have self control with my SCALES!! So with another week ahead of me, I am looking forward to seeing what GOD does this week not only in my life, but the others around me that are on this new JOURNEY!! PRAISE GOD!!! I know that without GOD this journey would not go anywhere. I know that I CAN NOT DO THIS WITHOUT GOD!! There are several others that I can not wait to see what their totals were this week so we can ALL REJOICE in WHAT GOD is doing!! SO keep PRAYING FOR US ALL!!
I pray that you all have a GOD BLESSED WEEK!!! I PRAISE GOD for what HE HAS done and WHAT HE IS going to DO!!! In everyone around me!!! I AM STANDING on GOD's PROMISES! Had a great service this morning and if the devil didn't try to attack the minute we came out of service, BUT he was defeated!! PRAISE GOD!!! I refuse to let him place defeat in front of me and me actually walk in it!! BY THE GRACE OF GOD I WILL WALK in VICTORY!! Thats what GOD intends for HIS Children!! PRAISE YOU GOD! YOU ARE WORTHY!!! Weigh In Week #1...........

Happy Sunday All!!!
I pray that everyone had a BLESSED Service this morning at church as we did.. well I'm sure that the preaching service was just as wonderful as the Praise & Worship service was... after singing with the Praise Team, I had nursery duty and went to rescue my hubby whom was back there the whole service! Lol!!! I PRAISE GOD for the MUCH NEEDED TOUCH HE gave me this morning !! HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME!!! PRAISE YOU GOD!! I pray that you each got a much needed Word or Touch from GOD this morning.

I have had a pretty interesting and ok week. My kids have enjoyed their week back to school after their Christmas Break... I was ok after the first day of me "Kicking -n- Screaming" ALL the way to school that Monday... I am thankful that thru all the chaos that goes on, that I have people around me.. GODLY People.. who help keep me SANE!! Lol!!! I mean really... try working with "9" kids ages 2-3yrs old MOST everyday... swoooooo!!! LOL!! Love them all, they have sweetness in them most of the time, you just have to pull it out of them. Lol!! First week back to school & first week of my new journey...PRAISE GOD you BROUGHT ME THRU!!! :)
My babies are precious!! They continue daily to make me laugh and I just pray that they will somehow stop growing up on me soooo fast.... I try hard daily not to blink in fear that I will miss something that I will never get back. I am sooo blessed that GOD chose ME & Doyce to be their parents... I AM PROUD OF MY BABIES....

Ok well to my Weigh in.. ( notice I said MY Weigh in, Doyce didn't not start the same day as me, he started Monday, so he chose to make that his Weigh In day, so you'll have to stay tuned to see what God did for him this week....)
PRAISE GOD!!!! I am very excited and even more motivated to get on with this next week after what GOD did this week. After many struggling days, I am very blessed to say that GOD took away 11 lbs this week!!! PRAISE GOD!! SO that puts my goal of 85lbs down to 74 lbs to go!!! WOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I am very very very EXCITED!!!! THANK YOU GOD!! Without you, I would have not had a victory this week.!!! Especially since me and this water drinking ain't "Jeehawing Well"!! Lol!!! If had really stuck with all 10 glasses instead of the 6-7 glasses that I drank, imagine what my number could have been, BUT 11lbs IS AWESOME!!! So I am on my way!!
Thanks for all the prayers and encouragement this week!! I soooo needed it or I wouldn't be putting this out there for EVERYONE to see and know all about this part of my life that is a struggle. ACCOUNTABILITY is such a HUGE thing for me and following this blog for me, HELPS me stay ACCOUNTABLE! I am thankful for the encouraging comments (hint..Rhonda..LOL) that are left on this blog and to the "private" followers...(Hint..hint..) Thank you for your prayers! I know that GOD is doing this and can't wait to see the outcome of what GOD is going to do IN US ALL that have taken on this new journey this NEW YEAR!! As I have said before.. ITS A NEW SEASON, ITS A NEW DAY, a season of COMING OUT OF THE OLD and in with the NEW that GOD IS BRINGING into our lives!! PRAISE YOU GOD!!! So keep praying with us that we will not be swayed by satan, and we will stick with this path that GOD has us on. Stay tuned to see what GOD does in Doyce this week....
Keep my Mom "Pat" in your prayers... she has gotten somewhat of what could have been a bad report this week and they are doing some more extensive testing this week. So pray that GOD WILL HEAL and HAVE HIS WAY this week in HER LIFE!!! She has several areas that we are BELIEVING GOD to move in... PRAISE YOU GOD for the answers that are on their way!! GOD WE LOVE YOU AND WE TRUST YOU!!! AMEN!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET BOY!! We are sooo proud to be your parents. WE are so thankful and grateful that 2 years ago today, GOD BLESSED us with another precious gift that was sent straight from Heaven! We pray that everyday you follow Jesus's footsteps daily and serve Him with all your heart!! Thankful for another year with you my baby!! Happy 2nd Birthday!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

This week has gone very pleasant with our new journey!! We could not do this without GOD!! PRAISE YOU GOD!!!! Looking forward to a GREAT VICTORY!!! Praying !!!

My, My, My.........

Well this is day 2 of my journey and I must say that I have a headache! Lol!! I know its from my lack of "no Diet Dr. Pepper's" until I get my water in each day, but this just is blaaaahh. LORD HELP ME here. Not only was this my 2nd day on this journey to health, it was also my first day back to work after 14 days off, my kids first day back to school, and the first day BACK TO REALITY! LOL!!! What a day. Work wasn't tooo crazy, but without my Diet Dr. Pepper's it was Swooooooo!!!!! hahaha! Kids had a great first day back, very excited about seeing their friends after 2 weeks. I enjoyed my day as far as that goes too... to see everyone that I had not seen in weeks and to see how Blessed they were at Christmas. But this headache is not letting up, but I PRAISE GOD anyway!! I know that this is just a tactic the enemy is using along with my car issue today to MAKE ME TURN TO FOOD!! Well NOT HAPPENING!!!! PRAISE GOD !!!!! I am on my way devil ...do you hear me? GOD IS IN CONTROL HERE!!! I have really stuck with it GREAT today and yesterday and I BELIEVE with all my heart that GOD is going to give me a VICTORY this week!!
Keep Praying for us!! I haven't spoke to my honey to see how his first day is going....
GOD give him (Doyce) strength to Push Past any obstacle that the enemy may put in his path! I pray that all that have begun their new journey to HEALTH today, that GOD gave you GRACE to Keep on KEEPING ON!! I LOVE YOU GOD and I TRUST YOU!!! IN ALL THINGS!!! Thank you GOD for being with me today and what YOU have brought me thru!! I give YOU ALL THE PRAISE!! AMEN!!

Jan. 3rd is HERE!!!!

Well well today is the day that I start my focus on this journey of HEALTHY ME!! Today is the day that the JACKSON Home begins to GET THE REAL US BACK!! Doyce & I are excited about what GOD is going to do for us!!! We are giving this weight issue to GOD and letting HIM take control of it. No longer will we allow FOOD to control us. I have always allowed food to be my comfort during stressful times. By the GRACE OF GOD NO MORE!! I am excited to be on the way to better health!!
Yesterday I put in as much junk food into my body as I could. Lol!!! I was hoping I didn't add more lbs on by doing this. As for what the scales said this morning, Praise God I didnt. Lol!!!
Today I have done the awful deed of weighing in the first day... aaaggghhh!! I am very sad to know that I allowed myself to be at that number. When I first started this journey back on October 5, 2008 til around March 2009 I had lost 50 lbs, well over the last 9 months I allowed the devil to sway me off that path and I gained 28lbs back.... NOT GOOD!!! I Praise GOD that it wasn't all of it back, but I am still very disappointed in myself, but as they say..... I'm gonna pick myself up, dust off all the residue left from all this JUNK that I have put into my body for the past 9 months and LET GOD DO HIS THING!! With GOD as our Personal Trainer I KNOW that WE CAN DO THIS!! I have 85 lbs to go to get HIS TEMPLE BACK!!! LORD HELP ME!! I TRUST YOU and I PRAISE YOU FOR WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO!!!!
So I promised myself that I would not put anymore junk food in my body after midnight last night. Its time to PRAY and GET MY FOCUS ON TODAY!!!! Today will begin my new JOURNEY and Doyce will begin his on tomorrow Ja. 4th....... Later on in this new journey when I get alittle more brave I will post what my starting weight was and before pics.....Wooooweee!!! LOL!!! Who knows maybe Doyce will too!! Lol!! OR maybe his wife will do it for him...lol!!! ACCOUNTABILITY MISSY ACCOUNTABILITY DOYCE!!!
GOD, I give this weight issue to you. Forgive me LORD for allowing your temple to get in this shape. I AM SORRY! I pray that YOU will be with me every step of the way! That YOU will lead me and be my PERSONAL TRAINER in this JOURNEY to HEALTH! I want to get the REAL MISSY and the REAL DOYCE BACK! GOD this is not us... not a part of what You have called us to be. Help us God to be a healthier example to our kids. I've learned that in the past WE HAVE TO GIVE THIS TO YOU 100%!!! GOD WE LOVE YOU... WE TRUST YOU..... NO matter what!! WE PRAISE YOU GOD FOR WHAT YOU ARE BEGINNING IN Doyce and Myself!! PRAISE YOU FOR WHAT YOU ARE GONNA DO!!! AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!
So on your mark, GET SET... HERE WE GO.....!!!!!!

Happy 2010!!!!!

Today is the first day of 2010!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure that most of you are making New Years Resolutions today as well as I......
Things I hope & pray for in 2010.....
1. To do MORE FOR HIM in 2010!!! More for you GOD!!!
2. To make the most of each day that GOD has given me.
3. To try & remember that I am too Blessed to BE STRESSED..( Lord I need help on that one... :)) Lol )
4. To make mental notes of all my kids daily actions... We always remember their FIRSTS of new things they do, but when does their LASTS happen and we miss them?? (Thank you Rhonda for my precious book.. to remind me of this... swoooo I can't handle it, Lord help them not to grow too fast)
5. More time with my hubby & kids, ALL MY FAMILY, my precious bestie & god-babies, and all my friends whom I Love more than they know.. I need more time with them this year, we are never guaranteed another time with them.
6. More wiser with my choices..... (hard one to stand by... Help me Lord!!)
7. To get GOD's Temple in the shape that is PLEASING TO HIM.. Starting Jan. 3rd!! LORD I NEED YOU ON THIS ONE... Step by Step... For all of my family. I would love to play with my children and not be out of breath after 5 minutes. Or climb the steps in my home and not feel like I need a nap after once up & down them.
8. GET MORE IN THE WORD this year!! We never know when that might get taken away from us and we need to have as much as possible stored in our hearts! AMEN!!
9. To have a better year of finances!! PRAISE GOD for WHAT HE IS GONNA DO this year!
10. Try to work on not being such a "door mat" and using more of God's given discernemnt on what I hear & believe... I'm sorta of nieve and tend to put alot of TRUST in people. I know that shouldn't be such a BAD thing and should love this quality about myself, but it tends to get my heart broken.... So GOD Help me put all my trust in YOU and not so much in Man... That will save me alot of heart ache this year. :)
11. To be a better witness for GOD this year!!
An last but not least .....
12. Work on the legacy that I am leaving behind for my kids... How will they remember "momma"??? Will they have memories of what a Godly example that she was??? .. that she always had time for us or that she was always running around like a chicken with its head cut off????... that she always put us first and not herself??.... that she Loved with all her heart??? that she spent most of her time stressed??? What will my kids remember about momma??? This is important to me so I pray that GOD helps me DAILY to be who HE WANTS ME TO BE and I believe that all these questions will be answered just by me following HIM each day...
GOD I TRUST YOU!!! I LOVE YOU and I WILL SERVE YOU!! Thru it ALL!!
